Theatre Jukebox at Salisbury Playhouse 2nd - 6th April

Theatre Jukebox presents A World Elsewhere is at the Salisbury Playhouse from 2nd - 6th April 2013 as part of Theatre West Fest. 

This curation was initially commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company and explores changing ideas in astronomy during Shakespeare and Galileo’s lifetimes, and reveals the impact of a magnificent new star that appeared in the night sky when they were both just eight years old.

How might this star, and the changes it brought about, have influenced Shakespeare and his work?
