It’s taken months of preparation to get here, scrambling our brains with the complications of movement of goods between England and Northern Ireland in the wake of Brexit.

It’s such a great summer for me, travelling around the British Isles helping Ava to get acquainted with her new friends at WWT and find a home-from-home in her osprey nests.

I’m just back from a brilliant couple of days at WWT Arundel, in the South of England where the team have been amazingly welcoming and the quaint castle town was sparkling in the summer sun.

We are up the M6 towards Manchester this week as Barney and I are visiting WWT Martin Mere to meet their Learning Manager Chris Whitehead and install Generation Wild.

Nest production for Generation Wild is in full swing and our fabricator Aron Duckworth has got a team on board to help in the workshop in Bristol.

It’s been ‘all systems go’ for the Stand + Stare team as we are installing a brand new interactive visitor experience at WWT Slimbridge.
