BRIGSTOW CUBES
Portable, stacking cubes that showcase a selection short films
Brigstow Institute asked us to create a playful way to share a selection of short films that tell the stories of the experimental and cross-discipline research projects they fund.
With creative play and collaboration at the heart of Brigstow’s work, we devised a set of coloured building blocks that trigger the films when placed onto a central red cross. The blocks are unmarked, introducing an element of intrigue and surprise into the experience, as you don’t know what you will trigger next.
They live at University of Bristol, but have been designed to easily travel to conferences and academic showcases, where they can be setup in few different configurations. They have been designed to reflect the core values of the Brigstow Institute - collaboration, playful experimentation, innovation, community and accessibility.
